However, if the names suggest an idea or refer to the same thing or the same person, the verb is singular.
 Also note the chord that manifests itself in the fact that it is even in a subjunctive mood. Well, it all depends on whether we think of the team as a single collective entity or as an individual. If it is the first, then the verb should be singular. However, if we consider the team as a member who does not act as a single entity, we use the plural verb.
